I will be running a composition workshop in Assisi, Italy as part of the Suono Sacro Festival July 12 through 25. During the 2 weeks I will be working with up to 12 composers as they create a new piece for the Suono Sacro Ensemble in residence at the festival. These new works will be read and recorded by the ensemble and a number of them will be performed during the festival. The workshop is part of the Study Abroad offerings at Florida International University and is open to all advanced undergraduate students and graduate students from any institution.
