This week the Miami Symphony Orchestra will be premiering a new version of my work Celestial Voices for 2 contrabasses and orchestra. The performances on April 5 and 6 will feature bassists Luis Gomez-Imbert and Jeff Bradetich. This performance is part of my work as composer in residence with the orchestra which includes advising the artistic director Eduardo Marturet as well as creating new works for the orchestra.
