I have been in residence at the MacDowell Colony from April 28 leaving June 2. During that time I completed a new work for the L’ensemble Suono Sacro based in Assisi, Italy. The work for flute, harp, and string quintet will be premiered on July 17 as part of the Assisi Suono Sacro Festival. Also while in residence, I began a work for the Neuvo Ensemble de Segovia (the New Ensemble from Segovia) for alto flute, bass clarinet, percussion, and piano to be premiered November 15 in Madrid, Spain as part of the COMA Festival.
