This week the Miami Symphony Orchestra will be premiering a new version of my work Celestial Voices for 2 contrabasses and orchestra. The performances on April 5 and 6 will feature bassists Luis Gomez-Imbert and Jeff Bradetich. This performance is part of my work as composer in residence with the orchestra which includes advising the artistic director Eduardo Marturet as well as creating new works for the orchestra.
I will be diffusing my work la catedral de cristal at the SEAMUS Conference taking place at Wesleyan University in Connecticut on March 29.
I will be participating at the ISCM World Music Days representing the Miami ISCM Chapter at the General Assembly in Slovakia and Vienna November 4 – 15.
I have been invited to present a paper lecture demonstration in Spanish on my electronic music and collaborations with video and other artists as part of a conference on Music and Technology being held at the National Institute for the Arts (IUNA) in Buenos Aires, Argentina Spetmeber 26 – 28
