Next week on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:00 PM I will be presenting a lecture on my music at the University of California in San Diego. That same day I will be doing master classes for a number of their graduate students. I am very much looking forward to my visit and to seeing friends, colleagues, and meeting the students.

I am extremely humbled to have received a Knight Foundation Challenge grant for the creation of a new multidisciplinary work on the theme of sea level rise. The site specific evening long work to include video, electronics, instrumentalists, singers, and dancers, is being created in collaboration with a very talented group of colleagues including visual artist Jacek Kolasinski, architect John Stuart, poet Campbell McGrath, choreographer Augusto Soledade, and Faena Art. The work is tentatively scheduled for premiere in December 2017. More
