I will be presenting a lecture on my work and master classes as part of the Festival Latinoamericano de Musica being held in Caracas, Venezuela. My works Conversations with Harry for bass clarinet and fixed media as well as my In Memoriam Earle Brown will be performed by clarinetist Gorgias Sanchez and the Simon Bolivar Orchestra respectively.
Next week on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:00 PM I will be presenting a lecture on my music at the University of California in San Diego. That same day I will be doing master classes for a number of their graduate students. I am very much looking forward to my visit and to seeing friends, colleagues, and meeting the students.

The work is tentatively scheduled for premiere in December 2017. More
